Google AdSense is a program that allows online publishers to earn income by displaying relevant ads on site. It's easy to use but more difficult to turn these ads into a substantial profit.
Each ads showed through, AdSense pays the site publisher based on the CPC (cost-per-click) which is the number of site visitors who click on the ads, or the "cost-per-impression" which is the number of times the site page is displayed and the ad is viewed. Per-click ads are used by default, unless an website advertiser has specified that it wants targeted per-impression ads placed on a website.
Of course It could be very high or low.
It all depends on the keywords of your articles are targeting. Adsense is based on a percentage paid by the advertiser on the Google network.
So, it's a wide range. There are people out there hunting down the keywords that pay the most and using them.
